New Release of Agilo for Scrum 1.3.0.7

Today we released an update to Agilo for Scrum Professional (1.3.0.7) and the open source version of Agilo for Scrum (0.9.0.7).

New Release of Agilo for Scrum

we'd like to announce a new version of Agilo Pro 1.3.0.7 (and the Agilo Open Source edition). Note to the impatient: Be sure not to miss our gorgeous 'How to Update' section further down!

New features and changes:

Totals Row in the Backlog:

The backlog now contains a row at the end which displays totals for each numeric column. The totals ignore 'alternative fields' like the calculated field 'total remaining time' of User Stories.

  • Agilo is now compatible with Genshi 0.6
  • Fix Agilo Pro bug: Can not leave quick owner choose ui in the Taskboard (affected Google Chrome)
  • Fix Agilo Pro bug: SVN commits were not working unless a PATH was set explicitly
  • Fix Agilo Pro regression: Unable use Agilo Pro on Trac older than 0.11.6

How to Update

  • Download the new version from the tools page and unpack the zip file so you have a binary_agilo-<version-number>_PRO-py<your python version>.egg file.
  • Create a backup of your Agilo environment folder and your database (if you use sqlite, the database is just a file in your environment).
  • Install the new version of Agilo: easy_install binary_agilo-... (you might want to do that with the sudo command on Linux)
  • If you used 'trac-admin deploy', you need to redeploy the static files (if you don't know what 'trac-admin deploy' does, just ignore it, it's just an additional optimization)
  • Make sure you and the other users empty their browser cache before visiting the site.
