Agilo for Scrum - Open Source Scrum Tool released

The Agile42 GmbH released the Open Source Software „Agilo for Scrum“ for the agile software development.

Berlin January 2008. The agile42 GmbH, a successful consulting and software company for agile methods, released the software „Agilo for Scrum“.

Agilo is a simple, web-based and straightforward tool to support the Scrum Framework. Its based on Trac a very successful and widespread Ticket Tracking System, and is developed using the Python programming language.

With Agilo for Scrum all the relevant Scrum fields and activities can be defined and created individually. Roles, responsebilities and tasks are specified and assigned. The Open Source software Agilo for Scrum is expandable to support also roles like e.g the Product Owner efficiently.

Depending on whether User Story Points or Ideal Days are used for prioritization, the software is flexible, customizable and highly intuitiv. The Scrum Dashboard Plugin creats a simple but very useful report page, that allows a fast overview and access to all important activities, states and progress.

Some features of Agilo for Scrum:

  • View and edit Product Backlog (incl. selection)
  • Show Burndownchart (on every Sprint)
  • Create a new Backlog Item
  • Create a new Task
