New theme for Agilo 0.7

New theme for Agilo 0.7 Agilo 0.7 will come with a new, improved GUI theme.

Andrea already told you already something about the new features for Agilo 0.7 (like relative estimation, improved capacity planning).

In the last week we integrated a new theme for Agilo which improves usability and looks much nicer :-) You can see the new layout on the screenshot.

For compatibility with old browser versions (IE 6 comes to mind), we added an option to disable the new theme completely. You will loose the eye-candy but no functionality by doing that.

Additionally we implemented 'contingents' so you can deduct a certain amount of team capacity in advance ('like customer support') without writing tasks for that.

Now we implemented all features but we need to do some final polishing, e.g. enable painless upgrades from 0.6 and doing thorough testing on PostgreSQL.

Therefore we target a final release of Agilo 0.7 on November 1st.

Thanks for reading!

We really did the best we could... a lot of new feature though went in... but we are a bit paranoid with quality :-)

We need to test much better the upgrade and migration from older version, and from different databases, plus the new UI, which is very neat, gave us a lot of ideas for usability improvements... and those things are really time consuming guys :-(

We are very happy of the results so far...

I'm really looking forward for the next version. I'm hoping for easy installation on Windows and seamless integration with apache, SVN and the latest stable version of TRAC.
Good work!! :)
