Bugfix Release of Agilo for Scrum 1.3.0.2

Today we release bug-fix updates to Agilo (0.9.0.2) and Agilo Pro (1.3.0.2).

Update (28.06.2010)

As some customers reported problems after updating to 1.3.0.2, we released a bug fix version 1.3.0.3. If you don't see any errors in 1.3.0.2, there is no reason to upgrade.

New Release of Agilo and Agilo Pro

Today we release bug-fix updates to Agilo (0.9.0.2) and Agilo Pro (1.3.0.2). Besides several visual improvements and the introduction of the sidebar to the Whiteboard, this update fixes an issue where Bugs and Stories were not correctly returned to the global backlogs when removed from a sprint.

To find out whether you were affected, you can either enable backlogs with a milestone scope or follow the steps as outlined in our User Group.

Full List of Bug Fixes

  • When you remove the sprint of a story, the story appears in the product backlog again (the internal milestone field is reset)
  • Pro: Display the Sidebar on the Whiteboard
  • When using the pound sign (#) in a sprint or milestone name, the links on the Roadmap page were not displayed correctly
  • Fixed duplicate confirm commitment when the filtered burndown is enabled
  • Fixed wrong error message when viewing a global backlog that the user is not allowed to modify
  • Display Agilo Favicon instead of Trac's by default
  • Pro: Grey background when a ticket edit dialog opens works in all browsers

How to Update

  • Download the new version from the tools page and unpack the zip file so you have a binary_agilo-<version-number>_PRO-py<your python version>.egg file.
  • Create a backup of your Agilo environment folder and your database (if you use sqlite, the database is just a file in your environment).
  • Install the new version of Agilo: easy_install binary_agilo-... (you might want to do that with the sudo command on Linux)
  • Upgrade your database: trac-admin <path to Agilo environment> upgrade
  • Make sure you and the other users empty their browser cache before visiting the site.

More information about upgrading can be found in our upgrade guide
