Agile42

Having worked with a lot of amazing people at agile42 over the recent 5 years, I have fallen in love with the diversity of thoughts we share. The problem is that nobody else really got to appreciate such insights, as we fail to publish many of them. To address that issue we have been working throughout the year creating a series of internal initiatives which work on a common aim: to share knowledge with a broader community. You may notice more blogs at agile42.com.

The next step

From my perspective the blog posts are a great starting point, and it is time now to starting moving forward to the next challenge. A blog post tends to be a teaser for a topic area where the fundamentals might not be substantiated in detail (who would want to read posts that were “too wordy”?) .

So the next challenge we have set at agile42 is to write papers which substantiate in detail the culture and the methods that underpin how we coach and train, or more generally, influence.

Our Goal

"Let’s try and create some eBooks of a higher level of quality and publish them for free, giving anyone an opportunity to learn and change their working environment."

We have now produced our first paper on a topic dear to our hearts, “Agile Transitions”. Our hope is that we provide the community with some thoughts that will provoke and inspire change.

The title of the paper is "Agile Transition - What you need to know before starting" and you can download the iBook from the iTunes store or just download the PDF from InfoQ

We need feedback!! Please help us evolve our abilities to share our knowledge.

Bob Sarni

Thanks Bob :-) Really appreciated

Thank you for providing this - I just sent you a short email with some feedback about it.

The bottom line is: I love it!

Jürgen Hoffmann

Thanks for the very detail feedback mail Jürgen :-) One thing we have to investigate is the TOC that in the PDF version apparently didn't get included...

Hi Jürgen,
Thanks for the feedback and the effort you put in to enhance the paper further. I hope others will see the value in our efforts, to spur us to do more writing.
