Certified ScrumMaster and Product Owner Classes in Istanbul

We are welcoming all the interested people to have fantastic 2-day trainings in İstanbul to learn the basics of Scrum and obtain the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications by the Scrum Alliance. The classes will be held on 11-12 and 14-15  September separately  and we still have early bird seats available.

Training Topics for CSM class:

  • Lean & Agile Principles
  • Scrum Values & Principles
  • Scrum framework core elements: roles, activities, and artifacts
  • The ScrumMaster, Product Owner and Development Team roles
  • Product Vision and long-term roadmap planning
  • Mid-range ‘Release’ Planning
  • Scaling Scrum to multiple teams
  • User Stories and the Product Backlog
  • Sprint Planning and the Sprint backlog
  • Daily Scrum (stand-up) Meeting
  • Estimating and sizing work items
  • Reporting and artifacts: burn-down charts, burn-up charts, and more
  • The Sprint Review (Demo): valuable feedback from stakeholders
  • Continuous process improvement via impactful Retrospectives

  • Lean & Agile Principles
  • Scrum Values & Principles
  • Scrum framework core elements: roles, activities, and artifacts
  • Techniques for building a compelling product vision
  • Building a visualizing a long-term product roadmap
  • User Story Mapping: creating a shared understanding of customer needs
  • Practical methods to understand your key customer segments
  • Defining a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
  • User Stories: eliciting and clearly defining stakeholder needs
  • Splitting user stories: patterns to decompose large features
  • Models and techniques for prioritizing product features
  • Release planning for predictable delivery via Agile estimating and planning
  • Effective ways to do Product Backlog refinement/grooming
  • Sprint Planning and the Sprint backlog
  • Communicating Portfolio & Product status – making it easily visible
  • The Sprint Review (Demo): valuable feedback from stakeholders
  • Retrospectives: achieving continuous process improvement
  • Scaling Scrum to multiple teams

Trainings will be delivered in English, with a Turkish speaking trainer onsite at all times.

PMI PDUs

Participants earn 14 PDUs from the PMI, which can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) designations.

Participants also earn 14 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) toward the Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) designation from the Scrum Alliance.

Trainers are Joanne Perold, A Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) from the Scrum Alliance, and Ebru Yalçınkaya, a Certified Scrum Practitioner from the Scrum Alliance. Joanne enjoys helping teams and organizations implement and improve their agile practices, Ebru enjoys acting as a change agent where the teams, domains need to enhance agility to reach their goals , to create a shared vision ıf needed.
