10 June 2016

Midrange MagazinAgile Methods can’t be bought - but they can be learned: this is the premise of the article that I have penned for the May, 2016 issue of the German publication Midrange Magazin.

The article, titled Organisation development using Scrum or Kanban (Organisationsentwicklungnach Scrum oder Kanban) explains how simple rules and transparency are the two things that stand out in Agile Practices like Scrum and Kanban.

However, introducing them into the organization is sometimes not as easy as it seems. The transition to using agile methods doesn’t only change the processes within the company, it also requires a change ...

Transition, Press

German publication SPS-MAGAZIN, specialized in automation technology, has published an article with the title Agile Transition als Lernprozess (Agile Transition as a Learning Process) in the issue of April 2016.

In the article we argue that Agile methods help companies to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and remain competitive, provided that the principles of agile actions are understood and supported by all stakeholders in the company. An Agile Transition cannot be completed with specific tools or methods but requires the willingness to learn and to continous improvement.

Agile methodologies are discussed in an article by Christian Kemper appearing this month on the German publication BANKMAGAZIN, specialising in topics for the finance professionals.

BANKMAGAZIN Juni 2015Titled Innovation goes different (Innovation geht anders in original), it explains that “the digital revolution in German banking institutions is taking place in an orderly fashion. However, in order to develop new ideas flexibility is needed.” In Germany, when a new digital bank service is set up online, it is usually already outdated. Long, drawn-out decision-making processes delay the release to the market. That’s the reason why it has been so difficult for these ...

agile42 introduces Agile Rubber-Stamp for Enterprises™

agile42 introduces the Agile Rubber-Stamp for Enterprises™, a collection of practices that provide a one-size-fits-all approach to agility at scale

1 April 2014

We see that many big enterprises want big enterprise agility. For this reason, agile42 is today introducing the Agile Rubber-Stamp for Enterprises™, a collection of practices that provide a one-size-fits-all approach to agility at scale.

The framework is based on stuff that worked a couple of years ago for a couple of large companies. These companies used continuous improvement techniques to develop the methods that we have now copied into the framework, and they have also evolved on from there. Unfortunately continuous improvement is old news and difficult to sell, so our framework carefully omits the underlying philosophy and jumps ...
