Scrum Gathering in Las Vegas has been a great success and Dave Sharrock, Brad Swanson from agile42 have given presentations
Organized by the Scrum Alliance, the Scrum Gathering in Las Vegas in early May has been a great success and the first sold out Gathering with over 500 attendees! For members of Scrum Alliance all presentations are now posted online on the organization's site under the Presentations tab.
Coaches from agile42 were present as always and you can also find their presentations here. We are proud to announce, that agile42 is since the 13th of July officially a Scrum Alliance REP℠ (Registered Education Provider)
The Scrum Alliance has developed this program for organizations that offer certification and non-certification courses pertinent to agile and Scrum practitioners.
The Certified Scrum Developer program (CSD) is a curriculum of courses that offer the skills developers and other technical-minded team members need to succeed. All courses in the CSD curriculum are taught by Scrum Alliance Registered Education Providers.

Official statement from the Scrum Alliance about the resignation of Ken Schwaber
Here it is, an official statement of the Scrum Alliance regarding the fact that Ken Schwaber resigned on September 15th 2009 as as President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Scrum Alliance.
The good news is, that Ken wants to remain active in the Scrum Community.

Ken Schwaber is not any longer the President of the Scrum Alliance.
Ken Schwaber is not any longer the President of the Scrum Alliance. He stepped down as President and Chairman of the Board of the Scrum Alliance on Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
At the same time also Managing Director Jim Cundiff stepped down.
The new President of the Scrum Alliance will be Tom Mellor.
