Participate in a Pulse to sense organization resilience

We are aware of how challenging the worldwide situation is for every business and how many companies are shifting the way they operate and sometimes even inventing new ways to ensure business continuity. In this context, organizations that were designed to be robust to external challenges are struggling, because they were not ready for such an unpredictable challenge. On the other side, companies which were able to grow resilience as an organizational capability will find in their DNA the ability to recover fast, adapt and possibly even grow stronger after the crisis: we’re getting some true real-time lessons in what resilient organizations are in a time of rapid change.

Covid-19 webinar

Complexity, Chaos, and COVID-19

The world is in turmoil. As we all find ourselves challenged by situations we never thought we would face, more and more people are turning to complexity for understanding. This epidemic has managed to make the complex, vulnerable, interconnected states we all exist in more visible than ever, but it has also made us think about the future and its potential in new ways. In order to support increasingly pressing questions on the subject, a panel of experts on complexity came together, including Alicia Juarrero, Ann Pendleton-Jullian, Dave Snowden, and Valdis Krebs.

The resulting discussion took place in a 90-minute free webinar that attracted more than 2000 registrations. Some were not able to attend, and others would like the opportunity to listen to the dense conversation again, so we are happy to be able to share a recording of the webinar with you, in the hopes that it will be able to help you in your challenges.

This investment and partnership in the future of Cognitive Edge enables agile42 and Cognitive Edge to realize their shared vision. Cognitive Edge aims to continue and amplify the delivery of innovative software based on its ground-breaking SenseMaker® technology. It will also provide support to the Cynefin Centre, a leading research and development center that has already contributed to the ongoing evolution of the award-winning Cynefin™ framework and aims to make a real impact on people’s everyday lives through the application of natural science to issues in real-world engagement. Cognitive Edge will also continue to deliver novel learning solutions and maintain, formalize, and grow its global partner network. Marion Eickmann will be the CEO of the new company, while Dave Snowden will be Chief Scientific Officer.
