ORGANIC agility Foundations (valid for CAL I)
By attending the 2-day ORGANIC agility Foundations Class and with some additional work, you can attain the Certified Agile Leadership I credential from the Scrum Alliance.
Agile Leadership is necessary to any organization that wants to learn and grow. ORGANIC agility provides a new leadership approach, models for cultural change, insight into complexity thinking and addresses topics that are important to every leader in any organization. The Certified Agile Leadership credential, Level 1, powered by ORGANIC agility, connects these aspects with Scrum, which has been successfully implemented within many delivery departments and teams globally.
Who are the ORGANIC agility Foundations for?
- executives, middle management, and other leaders with organizational influence
- leaders or consultants who support, lead, or interact with Agile initiatives
- any leader sponsoring, requesting, or involved with Agile adoption within their organization
The ORGANIC Leadership® framework supports Leadership growth as a capability, rather than only seeing it as a personal development of Leaders. And growing the capability of leadership within an organization requires building it into the organizational structure and culture.
To grow leadership capabilities we need to start building the ability, in ourselves and others, to see the connections between what we do and the effect that has on our organizational culture, our environment and us as a leader. Becoming a true Strategic Leader will allow you to focus on what matters and equip you to head a resilient organization.
agile42 delivers official Certified Agile Leadership training using ORGANIC agility. Get in touch to learn more about the availability of our coaches. Public classes are available in multiple cities, please check the calendar at the bottom of the page.
ORGANIC agility Foundations: Part 1
Each day of the ORGANIC agility Foundations focuses on different aspects: You can just attend the 1st Part, or both of them together. Day one looks at what resilience and agility are, what ORGANIC agility means and how it works as a framework, and on the characteristics of market change and organizational culture. By focusing on the higher-order principles of ORGANIC agility, this workshop addresses the many dimensions of leadership, how changing organizational culture is possible in the real world, and it introduces the Cynefin framework, a way of adapting your decision-making processes to context and communicating this across the organization.
ORGANIC agility Foundations: Part 2
The first day of the ORGANIC agility Foundations stands on its own, but the second builds on the knowledge acquired before. With a greater awareness of agility, the participants will now dive into the specifics of organizational design from an agile and complex point of view. This workshop will address methods for discovering what value is to your customers and delivering it to them, building a flexible and evolutionary strategy that supports your goals, and optimizing value flow, including incorporating Lean Thinking into your practices.
