Description
The Advanced Agile Team Coaching Course is for ScrumMasters, Team Coaches and others who want to take their skills, knowledge, and abilities for coaching and facilitating teams to a professional level beyond the basics. (This training is part of the agile42 Coach the Coach Program and the Team Coaching Framework).

In this course, you will learn about team theories. You will be introduced to a variety of tools, which you will have the chance to practice, learn coaching approaches and use them the way professional coaches do. You will also learn how to set up a team coaching structure that helps you and your teams achieve the goals you set.

The course is held over a period of twelve weeks, consisting of eight non-consecutive scheduled class days with homework activities in between (please see the "notes" below for class dates). Homework activities will include coaching conversations, team coaching, structured coaching and individual coaching. We will also cover Non-violent communication, Conflict resolution & wrap up with a final workshop on day eight.

With this course, you can also claim a total of 42 SEUs towards the renewal of Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certifications. It is solid preparation before applying for the higher certifications of Certified Team Coach (CTC) and Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC). By participating in all course activities, you earn: 4 SEUs for each of the 8 training and workshop days, plus 2 SEUs for two hours of 1:1 with a coach.

This course has been approved as Continuing Coach Education by the International Coach Federation. The completion of the course allows you to claim 27 hours of Core Competencies and 17 hours of Resource Development, which you can apply towards ICF coaching credentials.

Pre-requisites for attendance:
  • Attended a ScrumMaster training
  • Practising as a team coach/ScrumMaster for at least a year.
