Culture can't be designed, but it can be measured and influenced. This means we can't define an “ideal culture” and deploy it, but we can visualise the current culture across various dimensions and then use complexity management techniques to influence it. Leadership styles are going to be particularly relevant to this process, while a conscious approach to storytelling and an awareness of ritualized behavior can support the change and provide coherence.
Continuing the series on ORGANIC agility, in this webinar we will explore Principle #1 and various ways of making the culture visible in theory and practice. We will discuss the importance of visualising your culture and making it more coherent. We will talk about which cultural elements can become catalysts for organisational change, how leadership influences the culture (building on top of our webinars in May and June), and how you can observe the cultural impact of your experiments to see how change is progressing.
