Description
"Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu" this is what Ubuntu means in the local South African Zulu language. Its literal translation means that a person is a person through other people.

While digital processes and electronic communication tools appear to be increasingly attractive and necessary as we move to a more distributed way of working and collaborating, it is critical that we don’t lose sight of our humanity and the value of human connection. Valuing digital processes and electronic communications tools above people and human interaction will create unintended consequences. We are already seeing trends like the so-called "resignation tsunami”, a wellbeing pandemic and a pervasive loss of a sense of belonging and purpose.

Why is it, now more than ever, essential to be noticing what this shift in our global conditions is opening up for us as humanity? How are we paying attention to the important human factors of coherence, psychological safety, and trust that connect us in the virtual and physical spaces where we gather?

Join agile42 coach, Michéle Twomey, alongside Sonja Blignaut, Founder & CEO of More Beyond, as they explore these questions and some of the hybrid models we are testing and trying that enable essential human contact as we move through agile transitions towards a transformative purpose.
