Our Scrum Alliance Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) training class has been crafted to enable Certified Scrum Masters to further expand on their existing knowledge and experience. You’ll need a minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Scrum Master in order to register for this course.

How long is the course?
This is a two-day (remote) or three-day (in-person) course and all in-person training includes a catered lunch and snacks throughout each day.
Is there a virtual option?
Yes. We offer a remote version of this course should you not be able to attend our Cape Town and Johannesburg venues.
How many seats are there per class?
We have 20 available seats per class, with a strong focus on personalised facilitation by our trainer.
Do I need to renew my expired CSM certificate before attending the A-CSM training?
You do not need to renew your expired Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certificate in order to attend the Advanced Certified Scrum Master course. Upon completing the A-CSM class as well as the post-course assignment, we will register you with the Scrum Alliance for A-CSM accreditation. In this process, your CSM certificate will automatically renew.
How do I get certified?
Following completion of the post-course homework, we will register you with the Scrum Alliance®. You will need to activate your Scrum Alliance® account and validate at least 12 months of work experience specific to the accountability of a Scrum Master (within the past five years).
Is this course recognised internationally?
Yes, this course is internationally recognised.
Is the certification included in the price?
Yes, the Advanced Scrum Master certification is included in our course fee as well as two years membership of the Scrum Alliance®.
Does my certification expire?
Your Advanced Scrum Master certification will expire after a period of two years. To keep your certification active, you will need to renew it for a further 2 years. A renewal involves earning 30 Scrum Education Units® (SEUs) within the past 2 years that validate your participation and continued proficiency in the fundamental principles and practices of Scrum. The renewal fee is $175.

Will I earn Scrum Alliance points?
You will earn 7 Scrum Education Units® (SEUs) and 7 Professional Development Units (PDUs) per training day.
How do I pay for the course?
Payment is made via EFT. You will find our bank account details on the invoice. Payment is due two weeks prior to the course date.
How can my company pay for my booking?
Your company can pay via EFT. When booking online, please include your company details upon checkout. Once your booking has been received, we will manually raise an invoice for payment. You will find our bank account details on the invoice.
Can I cancel my booking?
We require two weeks cancellation / postponement notice prior to the course start date.
