I spoke about Experience Canvas and Agile at the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) Vancouver Chapter on May 16 during a sold-out event. The title of the talk was Estimate Value to Deliver Value: Effectively Estimate the Value of Requirements with the Experience Canvas.

Dave Sharrock at IIBA Vancouver in May 2016

Agile organizations move work to dedicated teams, rather than move people to projects. In order to succeed, the Business Analyst needs to continually compare the value of different projects or work requirements to make sure that the teams are working on the most valuable items at any one time. But how can you compare new ...

Happy Towel Day to everyone. Towel Day is an annual celebration on the 25th of May, as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). On that day, fans around the universe proudly carry a towel in his honour.

"agile42 "Don't Panic" collectible towelThe Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy has a few things to say on the subject of towels. A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitch hiker can have."

Our company is named after a very important concept explained by Douglas Adams we cannot but participate to the celebrations in our own style: by ...

Meet the Coach

In this new installment of our "Meet the Coach" series we talked with Johannesburg-based coach Regina Martins about change, the Agile world and "the smell of the place".

Can you summarise for us your career path and how you came to be an Agile coach.

Before I fell in love with Agile I had been a Project Manager delivering projects rather successfully using waterfall methods for 10 years. I was introduced to Scrum by my manager and he suggested that it would be a good thing to try it on the projects I was managing at the time. Little did ...

SPS-MAGAZIN
German publication SPS-MAGAZIN, specialized in automation technology, has published an article with the title Agile Transition als Lernprozess (Agile Transition as a Learning Process) in the issue of April 2016.

In the article we argue that Agile methods help companies to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and remain competitive, provided that the principles of agile actions are understood and supported by all stakeholders in the company. An Agile Transition cannot be completed with specific tools or methods but requires the willingness to learn and to continous improvement.

Organizational Culture Profile (CVF)

These are the most important aspects of the agile42 approach.
