At agile42 we have partnered with Kanban University to offer live, remote training in both Kanban System Design (KMP I) and Kanban Systems Improvement (KMP II), as well as online Kanban certifications.
What is Kanban?
Kanban isn’t a predefined project management method, or a Software Development Life Cycle. It is often over-simplified and confused with a board with sticky notes on it. The Kanban Method is in fact a work-management method that helps you manage the work you do now, so you can improve the way your organisation delivers and evolve your business to better suit your customer’s needs. With Kanban, we shift the focus away from managing the efficiency of people, and towards managing the flow of customer-valued work items through a delivery process.
Much like Agile, the Kanban Method is a set of principles and practices which have grown over time into an effective tool for organizations. At agile42 we use The Kanban Method to embrace the constant change that is characteristic of knowledge work. All industries, from information technology to financial services, insurance, legal, marketing, and government (to name a few) can all become more open to collaboration, unified and productive with Kanban. It helps to streamline processes in the face of growing competitive pressures.
