Certified ORGANIC Leadership® Foundations class (provides CAL 1)

(from 2021 we will provide the E, T & O (Essential, Teams and Organisation) certifications

This ORGANIC Foundations Class: Leadership & Organization, plus a 3-hour online training about Scrum, Agile and Lean meets the awareness & discovery credential certified by the Scrum Alliance for Agile Leadership (CAL 1)

Agile Leadership is necessary and key to any organization that wants to learn, grow and become resilient.

We offer this training as an in-person training (2 days) as well as a remote course (usually 3x6h sessions). It includes agile42's online training: Introduction to Agile and Scrum as pre-course work.

The 2 day (or 18h remote) ORGANIC agility Foundations class  focuses on 2 main topics: Leadership and Organization. It provides the new leadership approach, models for cultural change, insight into complexity thinking and addresses topics that are important to every leader in any organization.

Our Certified ORGANIC agility Foundations Workshop in combination with a 3h online training module provides you with the CAL 1 certification ( From 2021 we will provide the new E,T & O certifications)

Who should attend?

The ORGANIC Leadership Foundations Class is intended for:

      • executives, middle management and other leaders with organizational influence
      • leaders or consultants who support, lead or interact with Agile initiatives
      • any leader sponsoring, requesting or involved with Agile adoption within their organization

The ORGANIC Leadership® framework supports leadership growth as a capability, rather than only seeing it as the personal development of leaders. Growing the capability of leadership within an organization requires cultivating it into the organizational structure and culture.

To grow leadership capabilities we need to start building the ability, in ourselves and others, to see the connections between what we do and the effect these actions have on our organizational culture, our environment and ourselves as  leaders. Becoming a true Strategic Leader will allow you to focus on what matters and equip you to head a resilient organization.

ORGANIC agility Leadership Foundation Part 1

The first part of the workshop will focus on understanding the context, reason for existence, and the framework of ORGANIC agility. The modules develop around ORGANIC Leadership and address the need for a leadership model which is contemplating Attitude (behaviours), Culture (context) and Situation (domain). The introduction of ORGANIC Leadership will allow to introduce the principles 1 and 2 which are directly related to it as dimensions. Tools such as Archetypes and Behavioural assessments will be introduced and practiced.

ORGANIC agility Organizational Foundation Part 2

The second part of the workshop will focus on understanding more about the implication of market dynamics on organizational structure and culture. The principles 3 to 5 will be introduced with particular focus on connecting them to the first two, and understanding how the overall ORGANIC agility scaffolding approach allows each organization to develop their own version of a more resilient organization through agility.
