Leadership & Organization
Agile Leadership is important and key for any organization that wants to learn, grow and want to become resilient.
We offer this training as a in-person training (2 days) as well as a remote course (usually 3x5 h).
ORGANIC agility provides a new leadership approach, models for cultural change, insight into complexity thinking and addresses topics that are important to every leader in any organization.
Who should attend?
The ORGANIC Leadership Foundations Class is intended for:
- executives, middle management and other leaders with organizational influence
- leaders or consultants who support, lead or interact with Agile initiatives
- any leader sponsoring, requesting or involved with Agile adoption within their organization
The ORGANIC Leadership® framework supports Leadership growth as a capability, rather than seeing it only as a personal development of Leaders. Growing the capability of leadership within an organization requires building and embedding it into the organizational structure and culture.
To grow leadership capabilities we need to start building the ability, in ourselves and others, to see the connections between what we do and the effect that they have on our organizational culture, our environment and ourselves as leaders. Becoming a true Strategic Leader will allow you to focus on what matters and equip you to head a resilient organization.
ORGANIC agility Foundations, Part 1: Leadership
Each day of the ORGANIC Leadership Foundations Class will focus on different aspects. Day one looks at what resilience and agility are, what ORGANIC agility means and how it serves as a framework, we explore the characteristics of market change and organizational culture. By focusing on the higher-order principles of ORGANIC agility, this workshop addresses the many dimensions of leadership and how changing organizational culture is possible in the real world. It also introduces the Cynefin framework, a way of adapting your decision-making processes to context and communicating this across your organization.
Please note: This first day could also stand alone for anyone who needs an introduction and overview on how Agility, Agile Leadership, Organizational Culture, Resilience - to name a few - can introduce changes in our daily work and life.
ORGANIC agility Foundations, Part 2: Organization
The first day of the ORGANIC Leadership Foundations could stand on its own as in introduction, however the second builds on the knowledge acquired during day one. With a greater awareness of agility, the participants will now dive into the specifics of organizational design from an agile and
complex point of view. This workshop will address methods for discovering what value means to your customers and how to deliver this to them, how to build a flexible and evolutionary strategy that supports your goals, optimizing value flow andincorporating Lean Thinking into your practices
